Dear Readers:
Since the last issue was published, our economy has been in decline. lt is my prayer that you, your family members and friends have not lost your job or home because of the state of affairs in our country lf we have ever needed to give moral support to each other and come together as families, it is now!  lt has been my personal crusade, through this magazine, to help guide the readers in being very conscientious about their personal and family finances.

lf you are one who has tried to invest throughout your life through individual stocks or a company 401K or pension plan, you are feeling the pain of this economic downward spiral. I sit sometimes and think about how difficult retirement would be for me and my family if l had to retire within the next year. Many of our retirement-age citizens find themselves in a situation where they can’t retire. They must continue to work because they have lost their retirement either because the company has gone bankrupt, or the retirement plan can no longer pay the pension that was promised.

We must come together as a country as families and as neighbourhoods to bring back the days of job growth, prosperity and a good quality of life. lt can’t be done if we don’t care about each other and work for the common good of America.
